How is this different from an end of tenancy clean?

An end of tenancy clean is arranged around a move or property handover. A deep clean is for homes and properties that need a thorough one-off clean when no tenancy handover is involved.

Is laundry or ironing included?

No, laundry and ironing are not part of a deep clean.

How long does a deep clean take?

It depends on the size and condition of the property, the number of kitchens and bathrooms, and the areas agreed. We assess each property individually rather than quoting a fixed time.

What a deep clean is

A deep clean is a single, more intensive clean of a home or property. Rather than maintaining a standard, it brings the agreed areas back up to one, with more detailed attention than a routine visit allows.

Not every task is included automatically. What a deep clean covers depends on the property and on what you need, and we confirm it with you first.

When it helps

When a home has not been cleaned professionally for a while.
Before regular cleaning begins, so visits start from a good standard.
Ahead of a special occasion, or simply to get back on top of things.

What can be included

Detailed cleaning of agreed areas

Kitchens: Worktops, splashbacks, cupboard fronts, sink and taps, with appliance interiors where agreed.
Bathrooms: Toilets, basins, baths and showers, tiles and grout within reach, and limescale on agreed fittings.
Bedrooms: Detailed dusting of reachable surfaces and cleaning floors, including under and behind furniture where agreed.
Living areas: Surfaces, sills, skirting, door frames, switches and handles cleaned in more detail.
Floors: Vacuuming carpets and rugs and cleaning hard floors throughout, including edges and corners.
Surfaces: Shelves, ledges and other reachable surfaces that routine visits often pass over.

These are examples of what can be agreed, not a fixed list. Laundry and ironing are not included. Carpets needing more than a vacuum can be handled through our carpet cleaning service.

Regular cleaning keeps a home at a consistent standard through repeat visits. A deep clean is one-off and more detailed, taking in areas routine visits do not usually reach.
